Description

We are in the process of installing a new safety cell for our R-100 series robot. We have installed five NexBot Vision 611-015 Perimeter Guard Panels without issue, but the sixth panel will not align with the mounting posts. The pre-drilled holes on the panel are approximately 5mm off from the corresponding holes on the posts. We have double-checked the posts, and they are plumb, level, and correctly spaced according to the layout diagram. We even swapped this panel with another one from the same shipment, and the other panel fit perfectly in its place. It appears this specific NXB-GEN-611-015 panel was manufactured out of tolerance. This is a critical path item for our project, and the entire cell commissioning is on hold until we can get this fencing secured. Please advise on how to proceed with a replacement.

Resolution

After reviewing the customer-provided photographs and measurements, the support team confirmed that the specific NXB-GEN-611-015 panel was manufactured outside of acceptable dimensional tolerances. An RMA was authorized for the defective panel. A replacement unit from a different production batch was expedited and shipped to the customer's facility. The new panel was confirmed to be within spec upon arrival and was installed successfully, allowing the customer to complete the safety cell installation and proceed with commissioning their R-100 robot.
